The UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 certification in of the technical Units of the CNIC ensures the quality and consistency of their processes, continuously improves efficiency, and enhances their credibility and global competitiveness. It helps manage risks, optimize resources, and ensure regulatory compliance, which builds trust with clients and collaborators. Furthermore, it enables the technical Units to operate more efficiently and in an organized manner, better positioning them in the scientific field and attracting more opportunities for collaboration
Mission
The Pluripotent Cell Technology Unit (TCP) is the technical unit of the CNIC in charge of providing support to researchers at the center and also to external researchers in the generation of biological models based on the manipulation of pluripotent cells of murine and human origin, for which it applies advanced genetic engineering technologies.
Vision
The TCP Unit aims to be a reference as a technical unit within the CNIC and abroad in the design and generation of preclinical experimental models necessary to address in vivo and in vitro studies of cardiovascular diseases.
Quality Policy
The Pluripotent Cell Technology Unit (TCP) of the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) aims to
- Provide a quality service to researchers and ensure that the cell lines generated by the Unit are useful for their research projects.
- Providing good advice to researchers and informing them of the possibilities of available techniques
- To progressively develop new techniques and expand the portfolio of services offered by the Unit.
- To develop collaborative projects with the different groups of the center.
- Continuous improvement of the service offered by the Unit.
- To comply with the legal and regulatory requirements involved in the provision of the different services carried out by the Unit.
