QuiXtoQuiX is a software part of the QuiXoT software package used to analyse protein quantifications performed in the MS1-spectra (such as 18O/16O or SILAC). It performs a number of operations, such as identifying all the MS1-spectra where the chromatographic peak for a certain precursor ion is present. For this operation, different algorithms may be used (such as using the quadratic smoothing algorithm, getting all full scans, taking a number of scans or using the sweep algorithm), whose results are added to a QuiXML file, which can be readily used for posterior analysis in QuiXoT.

This software has been developed at the Cardiovascular Proteomics Laboratory of Prof Jesús Vázquez, at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC), Madrid, Spain.
